DailyHaiku Journal Launch and Learn
Small Words Big Moments V2.0
Date: Saturday, December 6, 2008
Time: 2:00pm–4:00pm
Location: The Stanley Milner Library (downtown)
7 Sir Winston Churchill Square
Edmonton, AB

DailyHaiku, in partnership with the Stanley Milner Library, is pleased to present a Zen-like afternoon of poetry and learning to celebrate the launch of the second issue of the DailyHaiku print journal.
This event will feature haiku readings by the Cycle III & IV contributors, including Catherine McLaughlin and Mary Pinkoski.
The launch will conclude with a keynote presentation on the gentle art of haibun by our local expert Ray Rasmussen. Ray is a past winner of the DailyHaiku Editors’ Choice Award, and is currently the technical editor of contemporary haibun online; his haibun work has been widely anthologized and featured in journals like Modern Haiku, Frogpond, and contemporary haibun.
Come out and enjoy the best of Edmonton’s diverse haiku scene!
