Left! Right!

Idealists, Ideologues, Fanatics!

All march to the tub-thumping beat of

Left, right, left, right.

   The right is right; freedom through might.

   Not sinister the left; sharing not theft.

 

They both march . . . fumble,

blinded by faith . . . stumble

crippled, hobbled to their crutch.

One-legged they lurch

Left -- left --

or

Right -- right.
