ADRIANA DAVIES

Adriana Albi Davies was born in Italy and came to Canada to the City of Edmonton with her family in 1951. Adriana has B.A. and M.A. degrees (University of Alberta) and Ph.D. (University of London, England).  Her working life includes university lecturing, research, writing and editing.  She was the science, technology, industry and material culture editor of The Canadian Encyclopedia .   She is the Executive Director of the Heritage Community Foundation and formerly was the Executive Director of Museums Alberta.  She is the proud Mother of Alex and William Davies, and lives to write poetry and read with the Raving Poets Band.
