That Moment

That moment-
When you notice the soft
Sunday lawn before you,
Formerly so calm
A lifeless green carpet unrolled

Is really bending ,changing, alive
With ants going hurridly
About their all important affairs
Scuttling over any obstacle
Accomplishing the Great Work
In the name of the queen

And curious flies light upon
Bowing blades
Turning black heads & twiddling anxious wings
As dandelions give up white fluff

Its only moments like this
Hungover, mouring love gone bad,
Jaw clentched to
Stop the tears

Its only moments like this
That I notice
