alley wolf  

last night alley orange from sodium light
ieye saw a man beating up a woman
cosmopolitan anger and she bled so red
i freeze for a moment and did nothing
until i saw she was with child
my eyes went blurry with tears and rage
my own bile shot and i drew my fists
and raged on him like a devil
             demogorgon knuckles and ffangs
ripping sinews and puncturing cavities
out of breath but not blood
the woman watched me - berserker
she scremed and ran to the street
i sent him to charon with blue and black currency
woman disappeared
i crippled home and used bandaides on me:
ethanol antiseptics and curried rocks
after horror sleeps pain so yellowred
i looked in the mirror
            my eyes dense with wolves
