from the Institute of Iconography
Department
of Manifest Disinformation re:
Project Proposal and Call for Resistance.
It has come to the attention of the bored
of directors that some aspects of yesterday's project proposal
may potentially invoke the wrath of certain law enforcement
agencies. We feel it pertinent to clarify the Institute's
official position on such matters. Given that the proposed
location of the Global
Potlach Liquidation Clearance and Garage Sale will be at the next G8 Summit meeting, many of our affiliates were concerned
that the presence of thousands of soldiers and police
at the last meeting may cast doubts as to the legality of
the Potlach. They requested that we provide instructions for
dealing with riot police. The following
is the stated position of the Institute's legal experts:
The
Institute of Iconography does not advocate any attempt to
be more absurd or confrontational than corporate
goon squad rent-a-cops.
We advise our members and associates to read them the riot
act and order their officers to disperse peacefully or they will
be considered a police state and collectively shunned.
