Untitled

The un and all together well known night graces

Into me I fade

into the night and all is exchanged

Music starts when you don't expect it

And there is a meaning to these words

but Like the stars and glimmer of my

life they have been stolen

Away or collapsed

depending on the story

I once held a crane

Not wings broken and bloody Dreams and guts and poetry red black and Gushsing

Sing the parting of life from skin It was beautiful and silk pale white Shining and forgotten blanket

But I left it behind cause I am growing old Then why am I playing with the toys of words

I should talk of mortality and chemotherapy But the buzzing the electric the machine of my words

Has given way to whispers no big and booming

Rants in the microphone

Humour bitter and brittle as my bones

That's what caffeine will do to you

Make words associations of the anti logic

seem perfectly all right

MY poetry is the leaving of objects

The hubcap against the tree

Saints sprawled drunk upon the lawn

The apple of knowledge in the gutter of salvation

Do not think of my art as sad when composed of darker hue man I tea

The colours of impossible blue and red the colour of small town innocence and innidents no I am not a car I have scars in me are the beauty I place words like sculptures in Muttart gardens sometimes the plants are far more beautiful left alone Sometimes love is far more beautiful left Lonely hey Cinderella Cinderella I am singing to you Sleeping beauty left wide awake and broken toed cause of restless dreams You find out after killing the dragon rescuing the prince that you left behind cause of stained saint hoods

Your gift is to be the dragons and dragons make love by

sharing thoughts and dreams

No matter how we rend and destroy the universe our

sunflowers and thistles

dragonflies and bumblestumble bees stitch

it all back together By a tarantula lal alalalalalalalalala that has

Profound knowledge of the language of slugs

But

sadly lacks in the building of webs
