BE PEACE  

the sun was setting in the sky like a stubborn mule.
the moon was sparkling in the twilght like a patient precious jewel.
me,myself i was relaxing in my refreshing lovely pool,
watching all the beautiful children returning home from school.
when suddenly i saw a guided missile,launched by misguided hands,
blasting through the evening sky and then ripping through the land.
i closely watched the MEN of WAR devour the city like a voracious BEAST,
and i thought u can bomb the world to pieces but u can't bomb it in2 peace.

a few years passed and me and my family were having CHRISTMAS dinner.
u know the kind that makes u think, i remember when i was thinner.
my mom hummed a little tune while she served her homemade soup,
my brother yelled:YO! come 2 the window and checkout all the invading troops!
i remember my dad looking through the window in a horrific trance.
i remember my sister saying sadly: y don't we just give peace a chance!?

a few years later me and the kids were at the park playing,
when i heard the guerillas in da mist MERCILESSY slaying.
i could not believe the VICIOUSNESS my brothers were displaying,
i could not believe the TERRIBLE price humanity was paying.

and then like flash it came 2 me the truth that set me free.
if i want 2 have a world of PEACE it must first begin with me!
i thought about John Lennon,when he imagined a world with no possessions,no hunger,no wars,no religion or no GOVERMENT. i imagined how the world would be when in our hearts all our
fears were undone.
and how we could all be the PEACE we are and the whole world could live as ONE.

PEACE 2 ALL BEINGS!
